Homecoming!

Linda (Psalmbook) comes back this week!!! YEY! I've missed her so much.

I hope she feels refreshed and ready to jump in both feet!! Be nice to see her around again!!

I'M Back!
Missed ya'll, but have had an amazing time. Really did some soul searching. Started working weekly with at risk youth(I Love It!!!). I've also practiced a bunch as I hit a slump. I think I'm going to challenge myself to paint something every day!
Now it's time to catch up on a little reading and photo gazing....
Did I mention... GOD is SOOO AWESOME!

Welcome back!!!!! My church has been fasting as well this month, but we were doing the Daniel's fast. I think it's great that everyone is getting their spiritual life straight at the beginning of the year.
I am curious, what type of work are you doing with at-risk youth?

pj, we were doing the 21 days of prayer & fasting. I also did the Daniel fast but also fasted tv & social media. I only did work related stuff on the computer & a ton of research for future face painting designs, etc.
Where in FL are you? We were doing the fast with thousands of churches around the US & world.
My 17 yr old daughter & I are going to a group foster home for kids that can't get places in regular foster care. There's a whole group that goes from our church every week. We play games with them, have Devotional time, pray, etc. The girls are of course more into doing nails, etc & the boys want to play basketball.

Oh... and face paint... did I forget face paint

I am down in Southwest Florida, in a city called Naples.
It is great that you are doing that work. My mom is the youth leader in our church, and we do a lot of work with at-risk kids from low-income and broken homes.

I know where Naples is. My parents used to live in Pine Island, FL near Punta Gorda/Ft Myers area(Hurricane Charlie went right over their Island).

Yeah! It is so funny how you can actually miss someone you've never met.

Well good to have you back! i could use a get away to clear my head. i would love that. especially now more then ever. but im a tough cookie i always get thru it.

@ Psalmbook, that's awesome. I have been to Pine Island a couple of times and know exactly where it is. If you ever decide to come down this way for a littly vacation, we should totally get together and jam.

I'd love to, but don't get the op to travel much. But maybe some day we'll all meet 1/2 way and put together a little jam!

fasting....that is hard to do. Great job Linda for working with the youth. That is AWESOME!
