How to train your dragon gig! What to do????

Hi there, I have a gig on Sunday and the party theme is How To Train Your Dragon, I haven't seen the movie and hope to rent it soon. I was just looking to see if anyone have done this theme lately.

I found a thread (great ideas!)about it but it is a little old and would love to see if anyone had any new ideas.

Most kids are ok with regular dragons. The other thread has several very easy to do Toothless designs. You can also do Viking Helmets w/ horns(I know Vikings don't have horns on their helmets, but put them on for the kiddos).
For kids that don't like their faces painted do the snake dragon on the arm.

Actually, the movie's pretty good. I liked it and I am not into dragons. Love your dragon, Psalmbook.

Hi again I am buying the movie tomorrow, my kids haven't seen it either but I heard it is a must have.

it's a wonderful movie... I hadn't seen it when I painted that thing (or I would have known that his fire should have been blue), but it is really good.

It was a fabulous movie. I watched it twice, and I NEVER do that. LOL.

I'll try to get some time to do a step-by step of the dragon. I'm not set up for video or knowledgeable enough to figure out how to post it

Just finished watching the movie, WOW! I must say it was great. We all loved it. Now I am going to attempt to paint dragons, wish me luck

the 1st ones, the faces are weird, is like they are happy mean dragons After the 3rd or 4th I see a little improvement.

I really like the red and green one. If you could figure out how to add a 2nd head on the red on it would look like one from the movie

CC, I used a split I made with all snazaroo paints in white, sparkle yellow, sparkle blue and sparkle green.

Maggie, Great job! I love this dragon because it never looks the same twice! I was gonna say sometimes I do a fish fin on it & sometimes I do spikes, but I see you already figured that out!

I wish right now it is a townhome in small quiet town. Soon to be a house in the country with a chicken coop and goats. I have always wanted that. I really need to get my kit growing so I can make split cakes too

Nice job, Maggie. I like the red one too. I still haven't gotten a chance to practice that dragon yet but I want to. You will do great at your party. The kids are going to love it.
