My new All Metallic Rainbow Cake
I made this and I honestly think it is better and more vibrant than any other standard or neon rainbow cake I have used.
This is my new go to. Vivid without being quite so over the top like a neon can be sometimes and will look good on all skin tones.
Here is a side by side with traditional rainbow and my all metallics rainbow

Re: My new All Metallic Rainbow Cake
If I thought there was enough interest, I would gladly sell them.
If you are interested post it here and I will see what we work out with price and shipping based on the number of people wanting them.

Re: My new All Metallic Rainbow Cake
Changing, that's beautiful.
It looks like you applied it with a round dobber. If so, does that mean you loaded it and just pressed down?
I'm so impressed with the coverage, did you have to go over it a couple of times or is that just pressing it down once?
You're a DFX lady right so I'm assuming those are DFX metallics right?

Re: My new All Metallic Rainbow Cake
I'm curious on the round coverage as well - as a newbie I'd buy one. I can make my own cakes of course, but the expense of buying all of them and then using them that way makes it cost prohibitive.

Pixie,
If you use rainbows a lot, it really is a lot cheaper to by the colors and make your own. Most people will build in the time and materials to make these or else they are loosing money.

Crazy there isn't a metallic rainbow on the market already!

Re: My new All Metallic Rainbow Cake
Metina - I get that. Just not sure how often I'll be using them. Have already cut my tiger lily cake into individual colors to make them more useful. It seemed a great idea until I tried to practice with it. I can see the value of the little cakes and the split cakes though! I like those. But a couple of rainbow cake (the bigger ones) - whether neon or metallic seem a given for butterflies - once I am making a profit I can see buying all the colors and then making your own. Very cost effective!

Re: My new All Metallic Rainbow Cake
I just looked at the Tag pearl doesn't look quite as intense to me, but yes it is another option for those of you seeking to have one.
but I'll stick with mine because it is a true spectrum rainbow
