Tag Neon Split Cake vs. Wolfe Neon Rainbow Cake?

I have a Wolfe Neon Rainbow Cake and my neon butterfly is my most requested design. I am in need of a new one and I saw that Tag has a neon rainbow...I'm not loving the round shape of the Wolfe cake, and was wondering if anyone had tried the Tag. It seems like the square shape would load easier on the sponge. There seems to be supply issues with a lot of Wolfe now anyway...any input?

The TAG and DFX neons are wonderful. You will love the square shape. I prefer the color order of the DFX, but that is just my preference.

I love the square shape, but I think the TAG does not do well if you use it with a brush. If you're mostly doing butterflies with a sponge, not a problem, but if you also plan to use it with one stroke, it might not give you what you want. Personally, I like wolfe better eventhough the container is a pain.

I own both cakes so thought i would upload this,
I didn't edit the photo except resize and crop to reduce this. I use the Wolfe cake
that just comes down to having a spare round whole in my kit so not really valid. I havn't used the TAG as much about 3 times at home. when I did this test the Tag was easyer to load. I always heve trouble picking up that purple on the edge of the wolfe.
looking at the two together I personally prefer the wolfe as I feel it with the pink orange yellow creates a focal point drawing your attention to the centre of the design. but thats just me, Tag is way easyer to load. (the Tag was a present from my brother, 2 days after I bought Wolfe)

Went outside to take photos and - alas no sun
with both cakes I swiped arm with sponge then sponged over. Tag cake is not well used so had to wet a fair bit wolfe cake well used.

I much prefer the colours of the Wolfe Neon Rainbow... as my daughter would point out, the pink (red) should be on the top and purple (voilet) on the bottom.

I also the the light blue looks a whole lot nicer, the blue in the tag is almost too dark and over powering.

In order of preference

DFX neon followed closely by the wolfe neon and lastly they kryolan neon cake

I do not like the TAg neon at all. The colors are washed out to me unless you go over it several times with the sponge. With a brush the colors I find are almost non existent

I've never met a rainbow I didn't like! But my TAG butterflies are so much prettier and girly than my Wolfe butterflies. I think the pink and purple next to each other look so pretty, and I also have a hard time picking up enough purple in the round Wolfe.

update... after putting it on my arm I left it on for about 5 hours (went to school ect) both held up the same but the wolfe blue part left a stain, Tag didnt stain.

Ok for me to get off but as some parants have issues with staining might be swaping to the Tag for partys at least. even though I like the wolfe colour array better Tag was easyer to apply and came of the best.

I'd definately go with the TAG - I don't like having purple at one end - it can make the kids look like they have been punched in the eye!..
the Tag is orange at one end and pink on the other - so you can switch it around.... if I was using the DFX I would always have to keep the purple on the outside.

These girls got it switched around.....

Oh yeah - and the Tag does stains some people.....
I had a kid a had given a rainbow on her hand the day before show me the stain.... I asked her if she used soap to take it off and she said I think so - I personally think she slept with them on so in the morning it was hard to remove.... but just thought I'd throw that in...... I think all the really bright rainbows have a element of staining to them.
