Sponge brushes from Michael's Empty Sponge brushes from Michael's

Post by CreateFaces Sat Sep 11, 2010 5:15 am

Hi All,

Wanted to pass along that I found these sponge brush 3 packs for 29 cents at Michael's. Tested them out last night and really liked the way they worked.

Usually I use the craft sponge brushes that have black foam and a wood handle for several designs, but these that I found on sale work much better.

I found a set of five or six yellow sponge brushes at Michaels for $1.99 in the t-shirt painting section. They are cosmetic grade dense instead of those flimsey black craft sponge brushes. Shown in my ice tube brush tray below, I keep them color dedicated and only wash as neccessary. Note the split colors on them as they are great for some one stroke brush work.
