how do you go about putting together a facepainting jam?

Hello Everyone !

I hope everyone is having a great summer ? I live in Alberta and i have heard so many facepainters in other areas say that they enjoy getting together with others for a jam in other places.... my question is "how do you go about organizing a jam?" i think it would be an amazing thing to do!

Any thoughts ? Forgive me if i posted this in the wrong place... or if this has already been discussed.

I think there is a separate section for this....but I could be wrong....

I put fliers at all the places where face paint is sold in our area. I also got discount coupons for all the painter from the store that sells face paint. I found a restaurant w/ a meeting room & booked it(ours is a free room). I then went on line & went to partypop, party planner, etc & created a phone/email directory & contacted everyone. Our 1st jam was last month & had 7 people. It was a lot of fun & we're building some good relationships. Our next one is Aug 9th!
I also posted the time, date,location on all the forums.
