I'm back! Empty I'm back!

Post by Ashley Pickin Wed May 05, 2010 5:58 pm

Oky doky guys...

I've missed yall! I have successfully moved into a house with my awesome boyfriend Ryan. We have officially made a big mess, gotten our first fight over said mess out of our systems, and are now settling back into a normal routine.

I now have a craft room and a pottery studio in the basement. Very excited about that!

I'm gonna start making vids again this week, and FYI I will be doing a couple of different things from normal. I will now be reviewing products(paints, books, DVD's, brushes.. all that stuff) on a regular basis as well as painting 50 faces from the book 50 Nifty Faces. They won't be step by step.. just quick start and finish things..

I chose to do this book because it was written back in the early 90's and quite a few of the faces are the most ridiculous ideas that I've ever seen.. we're talking dumb. So, it's more of a fun joke than anything.. something to amuse myself with. My boyfriend has already volunteered to let me do the sheep face on him(which involves cotton balls and a ribbon with a bell around the neck!)

So let me know which products you'd like to see in person moving around in front of a camera and if I have them, I'll do a review.. if I have the money, I'll get them and do a review.

Looking forward to catching up on all of the posts that I've missed!

The sheep face is not one that you'd want to use in real life.. it's ridiculous... which is why I feel the need to share it. All of the faces in that book are ridiculous!

The wayback machine is from a really old cartoon, Peabody's Improbable History, but involved a white talking dog that wore glasses and a kid and the wayback machine was for time travel.
