Kryvaline: review and shop ?
Hello! I have been watching Lisa Joy Young videos, she uses it.
I would like to try it, and to know where black, white, purple... works on this brand,
but shipping costs are really high to Spain in Kryvaline web.
What do you think about the "basic line colours" by Kryvaline?
Any idea about where to find this brand in Europe?
Thanks for your help

Re: Kryvaline: review and shop ?
I'd not bother with a particular brand if the price is too high. It is important to note that many in the public eye painters use brands because they are not paying the prices you will pay.
All the made in asia face paints are the same. You are really only buying color. Look for Wolfe, Diamond, Tag, Cameleon....all should be better priced in Spain.

Thanks for your reply, Sweet Loretta!
I have many TAGS, Cameleon and Paradise in my kit!
Just checking new brands, to try... but, as I said, not easy to get them!
Anyway, in "real shops" (not online), I can only buy Grimas and Kryolan in Spain... other brands, as you mentioned, I must buy them online, it is absolutely impossible buy them out of the internet...

Re: Kryvaline: review and shop ?
have you checked the face paint forum shop about what their international shipping costs would be?
Kryvaline is also available on eBay, which now has a global shipping program with package tracking if you pay with PayPal. eligible countries include Spain. eligible items show the shipping option.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/shipping-globally.html
you could check the listings or ask the seller if they have this shipping option and how much it is.

Well there ya go ebay! I don't really buy or sell on ebay, may have to give that a looksee. Most face paint retailers will ship internationally, still the costs can get quite high. I know Americans used to buy Fardel direct from the UK because the formulations were different. I am so not a tackle tart with many brands, but I like most painters will uoo and awe over colors.

Blues are soooo stainy! It is so difficult to find a brand with a good blue line work and not staining!!!
Re: Kryvaline: review and shop ?
Any blue from Superstar or FAB (FAB is Superstar marketed through Silly Farm's Label) DO NOT stain at all.
Re: Kryvaline: review and shop ?
It's a wax base paint, to it acts like TAG, DFX, Wolfe, and all the others. Nothing really special that sets it apart really. They have some fun special colors though! I really like the Creamy Megenta! it's like my fave go to color for pink now!
Re: Kryvaline: review and shop ?
Kryvaline is a great brand, however like any other brand there are pros and cons.
Cons:
White and black weren't great. They didn't show as nice, and were a little difficult to use for details.
Towards the end of the colours, they did get mucky and weird. The solidity of the colours themselves didn't hold
The smaller cakes (One strokes) were bad. The colour had trouble transferring onto the brush.
Pros:
The colours (Besides black and white) are very vibrant and great for detail
The colours were unique and stood out quite nicely.
The bigger cakes (more expensive ones) were fantastic. They lasted for a while and created beautiful designs.
I would rate this brand 3 out of 5 stars. The colours were great, HOWEVER there were some complexity of the quality and longevity of the brand.
Hopefully my experience helps with your decision.
