Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.....

Ok. We are experience a huge snow storm. This is my deck. I have tried to clear a path for the dogs to get down to the yard. We are expecting another 20" or so. I'll post a pic tomorrow!

All we got was 36 degrees and rain here in NC....2" of it...Blegh!

Awesome!!!! I know that you probably aren't enjoying it, but I've only seen snow a couple of times, so for me it would be heaven.

As a Canadian and Norwegian, you have my empathy, but here on the 'wetcoast' the crocuses are starting to bloom

No worries. We have plenty of toilet paper and beer so we are fine!

all of the snow in this part part of Virginia melts! too close to the ocean I suppose...

Basically about three steps from the bottom I used a large dog bed for them to slide down under the deck. Not much snow at all there and then they use it as a ramp to get back up. Slow going, but they are managing.

The snow has FINALLY stopped. But, they are calling for snow again Tuesday and then next weekend.

It is so Beautiful on postcards and to visit - but that is A LOT OF WORK. That is some SERIOUS SNOW!! and more COMING?? You are gonna have great biceps/triceps!!!

Do you guys ever have to shovel or clear the roof of snow? I heard parts of the country have to do that if the roof isn't pitched enough so the weight of the snow doesn't collapse the roof! yikes.

I don't know about the roof. The pitch is pretty steep.

Holy cow! Snow that deep and you shoveled it all! Simply amazing.

We stayed the night with my Grandma Friday night for festivities on Saturday. My husband drove by our house to check on the cat and couldn't get into the driveway! But I think we only got 6 inches or so. I'm hoping by the time I go home tomorrow, someone will have magically shoveled our drive (I do have two neighbors with snow throwers... maybe they will have pity).

Yup Metina... that's a lot of snow to fall all at once.... even by Alberta standards! Get out the snowshoes!

I love looking at these snow photos, but I bet I wouldn't like shoveling it much.
(I've never had to shovel any snow before, it never gets deeper than 5-6 inches here)

I can't even comprehend what it is really like but enjoy the insanity of imagining that much snow!!! Think I will stay in FL or CA! I am a wimp when temps dip below 50 I am freeeeeeeezzzzinng. You guys are tough!!

Poor Teddy Bear!!!! Snow is a nice place to visit and play in.... in my view. All of you who live and shovel and shiver have my deepest respect!!
