Snow in FL!!

OMG, we got to run around outside and play in the "snow" this morning. How crazy it that? I have lived in florida all my life and have seen nothing like this here.

We are about an hour NW of Orlando. It was fun but my body is not prepared for this kind of cold. My toes and fingers are numb and the pipes froze over the other night. I mean that's crazy!!

Funny, cause usually we're - well, not buried, but there's usually quite a bit of snow kicking around now - as of today, we've only had one snowfall this winter! Bizarre...not complaining, though - hey, no shoveling!

Thank you, Lone! I used Kryolan Metallic Silver (not Interferenz) and the green is Kryolan Interferenz 512G. Then Snaz black, and silver Liquid Bling on the black, although you can't really see it here. The Kry Silver was bolder in real life

I kept telling the kids if it was 10 to 20 degrees cooler here in West Central FL we would be having snow. Cold for us wimps - we don't have more than one coat a scarf or two, and a couple of jeans for when we travel to other parts of the country!!! ........(hey it is balmy, nice or hot 9 to 10 months out of the year!)It is very inconvenient - laundry wise having an extended cold spell!

I always feel bad for people that have to shovel, scrape and fall on their fannies in the ice - Here snow is a romantic postcard idea - so pretty and frozen and magical otherworldly looking. My Wisconsin rooted husband tells me it's at its' best when it's fresh --- before it turns to icky dirty wet slush. It is wierd to think there are places it might be dangerous just going to your mailbox.

I really like the different seasons. Can't decide on my favourite one. In general I think it is fall, with all the leafs in so many beautiful colours. But spring with all the flowers are also breathtaking. Summer, where you can swim in the oceans, and wither with snow and ice, also have its charm =)

I saw your video and the snow gathered around the cat dish!!! Guess mickey mouse needs snow boots! I heard florida crops are really suffering.

This global warming is just BS spin - in case the Capitol Hill hasn't noticed, its been getting lots colder for the past few years, yet they still all talk about Global warming.

We got snowed in here in Washington DC while the country heads were all in the Global Warming Conference to get ready to launch new taxes to countries that are causing it - shoveling snow a foot and a half deep off the white house walk is a sign of coming weather patterns!!! Eech, wish the powers that be would notice!

I just had to show that to my husband. He is still in shock! Snow in Florida!

We had snow very early here and more than usual too. But it melted after a while and with the temperatures being so low for so long, ice has been the real problem. Sometimes we get freezing rain where it turns to ice as sson as it touches the ground and it is sooooo slippery. I was really scared in the car on Friday when all the roads were so icy we slid everywhere. I hope it gets a little warmer soon. No more complaining about the torrential rain here, let me tell you.
