thanks for the tip about dry brushing highlights.

something else I took away is on your black linework-you do even your tiny lines as thin-to-thick-to-thin, and you break your lines up into 2 parts to make sure it ends on a tapered stroke.


many times as you painted, you broke it up into 2 strokes exactly where I would have done just one big stroke, and it makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!!!

What a fun design! What green split cake did you use? My colours are dry when I use a split cake, or bleed together. It looks fantastic!

This is a great dragon and I love it. I bet it is a big hit with the boys... All I do is a Chinese dragon and now I will have to give this one a try... I like your work very much and thanks for posting it.
