How many photos on average do you bring/use? Do you display only full faces or do you also show off smaller designs? I'm looking to try and set up my own board, but I'm not too sure if I'm getting a little too OCD with the whole thing.

I wish I could help you with this... I've been trying to perfect display boards for months now... I too have the dreaded OCD. I think I like it, then no it could be better... drives me crazy... But on my pinterest you can find a lot of examples of other peoples face painting boards. Here's a link hope it helps!

I have a board with 12 pockets I rotate what I put in there. I also have a larger board with 3 sections. One for 5, 10, and 15 priced faces. Depending on the event depends on which board I use.

I like the pocket idea, it would be nice to easily switch pics depending on the event.

Do you have pics of your boards Krissie? How do you have the pockets attached?

I'll try to get pics of it later today. And since I couldn't afford the good pockets I took apart an old picture album and attached them with double sided tape and super glue.

where do you buy the "good" ones? I am going to use the "dots" to attach the plastic sleeve. I am toying with the idea of printing a banner with the photos that will ALWAYS be offered and separate them by price the in each section have the sleeves for the new designs. I worry how it will roll up since I am assuming that the sleeves are rigid. What do you guys think?

I have thought about that route too. Because I found 2 of the vertical stands on craigslist cheap. And wanted to use them for designs but like being able to switch out. With yours if u r gonna roll it up I would suggest velcro on the banner and sleeves then can pull sleeves off and roll up. That won't work with mine though because it is retractable self rolling.
