I'm just getting started in face painting, and I feel so lucky to already have a lady willing to be my "practice pad" lol. I am going to attempt a baby Krishna and I am really nervous, I have a full sketch and am going to be using the tattoo/speed stick trick to transfer the image. Has anyone tried this method?

I've heard of bodypainters that use that technique...
All in all it's a good idea, don't to it on contests though, it's considered cheating

Good to know, thanks Tineke! The reason I was thinking if this was because perspective is hard and I'm afraid it will take too long, I sketched up a draft Smile1st unpaid portfolio piece scheduled! Null_zps10b27290

That looks nice.
I don't know how the technique works, is it comparable with putting a picture on baking paper and transfer it then on the belly?

I think so, you rub a thin layer of speed stick and then it transfers the ink from the paper to the skin. I'm pretty new but I knew of that trick previously an was curious. Sadly the mom I had set up decided not to respond (2 weeks till the due date so I'm sure she's pretty cranky).
