Re: more attempts for feedback...
I like them....for your swirls and dots, try varying the thickness, from thin to thick to thin again...it'll add a little something extra to the design.

Re: more attempts for feedback...
Actually, they aren't bad. The photos aren't the best, I would take them from the front.
The butterfly is the only one that seems to need changing but it's not bad. I want to take out the line that comes over the eye brow and then keep your small lines coming from the outside edge instead of the top.
Here's a picture tutorial I did for a newbie group on Facebook, hope you can read it as I had to resize it. You don't have to follow the design, per se, but just the principles like separate wings, clustered dots, 45 degree angled wings...etc.

Re: more attempts for feedback...
Denise! What a great little tutorial... With that one image, I think you hit most of the high points that make good into great!
A book with that kind of stuff would be great! Hint, Wink Nudge!

I second Leapinglizards, Denise. What a great grand book that would make. You could cover all the popular designs. It could become a classic!

Re: more attempts for feedback...
Thanks guys! I have a tiger one too. I'd have to re-do them for a book of course.
Re: more attempts for feedback...
That's really cool Denise! I learned all of those things through trial and error would be cool to have it all played out in a book.My most recent learning experience is to outline my double dipped flowers, and defining the edge of my rainbows...gives it a little something extra.

Re: more attempts for feedback...
Denise - you really should do a book with these. Even a simple ten-design booklet-type thingy would be a great seller with new (and seasoned!) painters. It's just great great stuff. )

Re: more attempts for feedback...
Love the tutorial/tips Denise! Caught myself having made those mistakes but now i know and will do it the pro way instead of amature. Although I've been face painting for 4 years, and clients consider me professional, I still feel like I have a long way to go. But thanks to your tutorial, I am one step closer!

Re: more attempts for feedback...
Once Denise show how to do a butterfly with the snazaroo sponges, they were too big, now I found these and they are perfect, I am so in love with them and use them for everything, they make perfect wings on any size face, perfect spiderman eye, perfect mask, perfect dragon wings etc. They are called wicked sponges
Re: more attempts for feedback...
Even though the tiger is one of my best and favourite designs, i know it will be way more consistent with these tips. Thank you!
