Bodypainting IT Calendar :) (photos for adult)

My points were two. One Europe is a too general statement, it includes too many country in it. Two i think in here what i can admire is genes not art. If we must call it art then kudos to the mothers and fathers that gave great genes to these good looking girls!
What has this to do with art? I am confused not scandalized. Where they the same pose and girls but totally painted in a canvas i could admire the tecnique to make it look realistic. In this case the canvas is too empty to admire the art. Nothing wrong with the good looking girls. My points never stated "take them down". I more enclined to feel sorry for the painter as her art is not highlighted here but blinded by the shifted focus.
Luz my apologies if what i wrote might have offended you in anyway, my laughing was related to the fact that you ended up i a red district well known for its purpose. I personally have not seen it, that must have been a shocking view to take in not knowing what it was.

A New Face, a 'c-string' or ... oh dear, this is not my favourite term... 'vag-patch' is a stick on thong/g-string that has no sides. There are probably other names for them as well. It looks like a letter "C" when not attached. You basically glue them with Pros-aide at the front and back. It makes for lovely smooth body paintings but is very close to being totally nekkid.

I have to agree with Daisy about posting the pictures in a 2nd post that won't show up in the portal. I often have the portal running on my laptop screen and it would be quite a shock to have that thrust in my face with children around. I'm a body painter and I've painted with and without the genitalia barriors, I don't have a problem with this artwork other than the fact that the obvious focus is the canvas and the secondary the artwork. To each his own, but I agree that the pictures need to be stepped down to keep them out of the portal, otherwise the Adult disclaimer is null and void since viewers won't have a choice NOT to look.

Problem can be only if you look on forum by "portal" button..
I never used it – I do not need it.
If you used searching by this button – you see it without my warning.

It's a calendar, it has different rules than public nudity.
I hope - surely everyone understands it.
This is not full bodypainting, but only IT symbols, logo or text - but still painted on body.
It was the client's wishes and requirements - this type of nudity (for men).

When I paint in the public (open air, in the city street) - I painted only with the permission of police and the Department of Culture of city (only with contract and permits). On party not.

In Czech republic we dont must putting stickers/cover on nipples.
Breast with nipples are normal and natural. The breast without nipples was´nt breast.

Painting was with brush and sponges and by airbrush.
Some was by stencils (logotype and pixelize and text).
Yes, I know it does not look real. Im sad of it from first time when I saw them :-(
And lot of people told it to me… Finish pics is a lot of work by graphic post process in photoshop.
But because we have contract and we can not post any other pics of this work.

Because perhaps if you do not see any of my painting art maybe you will see at lest good works of photographer, beautifully illuminated or beautiful bodies.
I feel big different in this nudity and in „open legs“ photos or „pink beauty“.

In my country was´nt nudity on TV normally in day time.
My country was Czech Republic in Europe, Europe was not 1 state, it is only 1 continent with other rules in all of the states, kingdoms or republics)
In CZ any women walking in park top-less or have topless Sunbaths.
We have´nt sea, we have´nt nuda beach for naked people (like Florida)
I wonder where you have this information and drivel – it offends me.
1st prize of countries which had most porn star actor was USA ;-) and I did not claim that all women in USA was porn stars. (It can be the same logic as your claim - Europe = same situation everywhere – so I can told it about everybody from Europe)

Seekorka, please continue to post your work. You have a very different style from many others here and I enjoy it.

As far as putting adult photos in the second post so that people using the portal won't see them, I didn't know that either. Maybe someone wants to put that in the rules, since some of us don't even know what the portal is.

I think it was very unkind of people to say that the painting wasn't impressive because the models were beautiful naked women. For starters, every single person who's posted here has their own breasts, so they shouldn't be so shocked they can't close the thread after seeing the first pair. Although the women were nude, they weren't posed in a titilating or pornographic fashion. They're very similar to classic paintings or statues -- do you refuse to look at those? And why wouldn't they be beautiful? Many people here paint beautiful children all the time -- Katurah and Daizy are the first that pop to mind. Is it acceptable to say "You're admiring the genes in that child, not the artist's work"? Of course not. No matter what your design, it will look better on an attractive person and we all know (and take advantage of) that.

It's also not surprising that these images are photoshopped to some extent. They're being used in a glossy calendar for an IT company. That's the look the client wanted. Most of us here would give our left arms to be body painting at that level.

A simple request that the photos be posted differently next time, with an explanation about the portal, was all that was necessary at the time. Some apologies seem to be required now.

I didn't know that about the portal either...personally I wonder what you're doing letting your kids near a computer where these things could accidentally happen...

Remember the old story about the man the boy and the donkey? You can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but not all the people all of the time. Apparently not even God can--but you got a thread going good, ha!

I think your paintings are amazing, even though they may be touched up you still must have done a very good job in the first place. I wasn't sure at first that you had done them. Well done.

I understand the look they were going for, and even though its not the kind of calendar I would be buying, it looks great.

I was just trying to point out something people are most likely not aware of when I mentioned the portal. I like using the portal as it is a quick and easy way to see what people are talking about right across the forum.

As for my children being around while I am on the computer…. they are obsessed with face painting. Often they will look through photos and videos with me to get ideas of things they want to paint, or things they want to be painted. Also you never know when they are suddenly going to walk up behind you.

I personally don't use the portal, i looked into your posting and therefore am part of those "If i do not like....don't look."
My confusion was regarding the art. If i had known that it was a commission calendar for IT symbols for men i would have understood immediately.
It would have been clearer why the bodies took a center stage versus your painting.
As that is what you were commissioned to do i think you did a great job there.
Please do not stop posting for me nor for others. Controversy is to be expected especially in this field of work.

My quotation is referring to the fact that the girls are the "center stage" and not the "art "which is now clear have been "commissioned" that way. There is no unkindness of any sort intended on my part. It was a way of pointing out where the focus was. I am not a native english my point did not come across as i meant it.
In fact my feelings are right after when i say i feel sorry as her art is not the highlight of the pictures.
JennyNixe your comment on Katurah and Daizy painting beautiful kids is out of context as their focus in the painting are not the kids but the painting themselves.
If for any-reason my writing have appeared unkind i apologize no unkindness was intended. One of the main reason i join this forum was to see others works and push myself to do better as a painter this work was about calendars and pictures not too much on painting, not something i would have looked for had i known before.

Paola, perhaps you are a better artist than I am, but I can't body paint like Seekorka has here. I think the detail and line work are amazing. And she did say, from the beginning, that they were commission for a calendar.

These photos are nudes, but not pornography. Some people find nudity in any form distracting, and that's fine, but it really is an individual preference. As adults, I believe we need to take responsibility for our own preferences. To me, it didn't make any difference if these women were naked or in body suits, the art was still really cool.

That having been said, you were not the person I meant when I said some apologies were in order. You did not accuse Seekorka of falsifying images.

JennyNixe, i am not a better artist it simply does not represent my line of interest.
With this i am not discounting Seekorka work, her lines were incredible precise.
I love to look at paints where some of the technique can be used like flowers or leaves or other images. I do not do body paint and not interested on it, i look for things that could be used on faces. When i first took a look at these pictures i was expecting a kind of sequence of pictures to get to a final body paint. I read commissioned calendar IT symbols only now on her response.

Maybe what needs to come of this thread is a body painting sub-forum, which other people have asked for. That way, people who are only interested in face painting can just look at that.

I mean really, we've all seen breasts, the majority of FPF members even have their very own set. If you didn't want to see them, don't click on a thread that says 'photos for adult', and for those that use the portal (I had no idea there was such a thing) it only takes a second to just click 'back' or 'escape' if there are children looking over your shoulder.

Thank you for sharing your work with us Seekorka. I found your sketches interesting too, so thanks for sharing those as well. It must be frustrating to give up control of the final images to the publisher, knowing that they may change the look of them in photoshop. I think you did a great job! Not a calendar I'd buy myself, but I'm sure their target audience will love it & that the client was very happy

It did say "adult" i believe. I may have been expecting ... the traditional body painting that i usually see. and you can hardly tell they are nude. but I sure do wish...that body was MINE ...again... lol. I think you do great work. we all have opinions and we can not make everyone happy. (know that from being in businesses)... but I think as long as it says..(before we open) "adult" or nude or something.. there is nothing wrong. we have a choice to look or don't look. I believe we have seen almost this much (our kids) going to public schools....lol.. You all do wonderful work. I I so love everyones work..and enjoy looking and trying some of your creations ...thanks you for this site!

Too much Photoshop and too many boobies. Anyone's lines are amazing in Photoshop... Maybe it wasn't the artist "fault" the paint no longer looks like paint...... Still I don't see the point of posting it when it looks like computer animated paint AND nudity is the main focus

Because it was obviously her ideas, time, creativity and work, that's why she posted it. She provided her sketches to prove the artwork is hers and obviously the publisher photoshopped it to make it more symbiotic with an IT men's calendar. If I was commissioned to do a project like that I would sure as hell post it too because I would be proud!

I think it is a great accomplishment Seekorka! Well done! Most, if not all work of ANY profrssional published type is photoshopped and tuned to the publishers rights and directions. She even stated in her post she could not post pics of the work before the final cuts.

That's like saying that models should not post pics of their portfolio because editors have edited it and photoshopped it to make them look better?

You should all check out her website, www.face-painting.cz. She obviously does A LOT of commercial body painting and her work is fantastic!

I think posting a thoughtful post is a bit more constructive than posting random memes to make your point. I mean, it's not as if anyone is saying that it isn't photoshopped. The discussion in itself is quite interesting imho. But flaming like that... What's the use?

Yes we know it was photoshopped Seekorka even says she seemed disappointed in the results that they didn't look like real painting. She also stated that a lot of work went into the production end by the graphic artists...

But it can be seen clearly from her sketches and from the completed, photoshopped final product, that the original art was hers and was retouched to make it look purposefully 'digitized'. She did not photoshop it herself and is not trying to pass off work that is not her own.

Her work is being highlighted by a professional team for an IT calendar... For a bunch of IT nerds clicking and hacking away at their keyboards lol, looking up longingly at the beautiful nude models with IT and company symbols all over their perfect bodies. Obviously by the quality of the photography, the graphic design and the models, it was a very professional gig. It will be great for her portfolio.

Wow, Melinda. That was completely uncalled for, especially given that you have photoshopped images on your own site. I'm very uncomfortable with the level of hostility you're displaying here. I don't know why anyone would want to post their work with people making comments like yours.

I think this discussion is another GREAT reason to create a body painting section for this forum. It would enable those who do not want to be involved to avoid those posts.
