I love Magazines, and today I found an article by Shannon in Brush Strokes Magazine.

I think I've read this issue 6 or more times, and missed her each time. Awesome Shannon, Great article and wonderful pictures. This is issue 20, August/September.

If you don't get this magazine you really should. It's cheap and you get to see all the back issues once you've ordered it. Go take a look at http://brushstrokesmag.com

They cover the big conventions, and have lots of step by steps to learn from. You can print out the step by steps for reference. and you can go to any issue to see and read it. This is such a great Magazine. and they showcase painters like our own Shannon.

Yup, your picture and all. All about Living Canvas in California and the class you did there.

I'm going back to look again, just in case I'm wrong....Nawww, I couldn't be wrong. I'll go look anyway.

I don't subscribe myself actually - I like to HANDLE my magazines.

With Brush Strokes though, when you subscribe you get access to ALL the issues of it so you can read everything they've ever published. Which is a nice feature.

I really think this is the best deal for magazines anywhere. and they are really set up nice to print off if you want to print articles or step by steps.

Who else gets this magazine? Metina? I think it was you that told me about it.

I looked at the first articles with a focus on uk, eastern europe FP and how-tos, then it took me awhile to find the price - uk 15.00, which should run around thirty us for the mags. Hmn, think I will pass on it this time.

Come to think of it, Donna Dewberry, founder of the One Stroke Technique also has an e-magazine with the name of Brush Strokes, too. Interesting.

That's just 25 bucks for all the past issues and the next years too, Leaping Lizards what a deal. Less then a buck an issue! Can you tell I love that Magazine. I have learned so much from them. And everyone seems to have a bit to do with them...People like Mark Reid, Jodi Carr, The Wolfe Bros..Brian and Nick, and of course our own Shannon.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

It is a really great deal since you get access to all the back issues. I have let me subscription run out, because I have been so busy and the step by steps were all I ever looked at. And, no disrespect to them, I feel like through my newsletter and challenges, I see a lot of step by steps.

How many times are they coming out now? The were doing monthly in the beginning and then bi-montly I think. Makes a big difference to get 12 for 15 pounds and then only 6 though.

I subscribe too. I think I'm up for renewal. Yes, now it is bi-monthly. Have really enjoyed the photos, step by steps, featured artist interviews. Another tool or resource to have.
