Someone told me that if I wanted to be a real body painter, I had to do an animal print painting. I used Mehron Paradise paints in this effort.

After a frantic three hours of painting and a few more hours of photography, I realized that I forgot to go in under the eyes with a white line beneath the black. That's one thing I would definitely change if I had it to do over.

I always love your work, this is unique but it doesn't really scream your style, I don't know why. It is very nice though.

It's completely not my style, Lorrin. I have taken to accepting any challenge as a way to get out of my comfort zone and improve. Most of my past painting is pretty abrupt, color-wise, and almost cartoonish. I'm not sure if I like the more blended and natural look yet. We shall see! I've missed talking to you, by the way.

I can appreciate that, although I like your norm stuff more - your heart shows through.

Miss talking too!

Thats amazing! I use paradise too because I have been working on my other half as paradise is the only vegan friendly brand we have found, but the blending is still giving me trouble, (I am very new to it all xD)
Would love to see more of your work and how you blended the orange and yellow in the cheeks

I am doing my first animal body paint in about two weeks. I'm not at all comfortable with calling myself a body painter yet. I'm just now getting comfortable calling myself a face painter. I almost feel like I need years of painting experience, rather than months, to call myself anything but a graphic artist with a brush, and some paradise. Up until this July I didn't even think I could paint anything outside of walls and trim, and I don't mean with murals.
