Where to print a T-shirt?
I have a colorful getup I wear for kids' parties, but it's not the thing for other venues, and I like the idea of a plain black T that I see a lot of painters here saying they wear, that just says "Face Painter" on the front and then my business name and website on the back. Seems like a great eye-catcher for those times when you paint up just to go the store or wherever in hopes of passing out cards. Sometimes when I have to stop somewhere on the way to or from a gig I wish I had some sort of sign around my neck so that people know I don't just go around with my face done up like a tiger for yuks.
But I'm SUPER TICKED that Vista Print does not offer the women's T in black! I have a cafepress account so I can always get it done there, but their rates, even at wholesale, are lousy. Anybody know of any other source for T's that carries a women's black?
Also: I'm thinking of doing a smaller line under "face painter" that says "Yes. I get paid for this." It came to me b/c of that "I'm an artist" shirt design that's floating in that thread in the General FP area; I'd like to get across the message that I'm a professional without being quite so snarky about it. (A little snark is OK, my business name is "In Your Face" after all.) Good idea, or turn off? (I've already decided not to add, "Because that's how awesome I am" underneath! )

Yep. I have an account with cafe press. I was hoping for something closer to Vista's prices! Maybe I should just suck it up.

Nix the "yes I get paid for this" maybe something a little less antagonistic?

I think just your motto, or something along the lines of Call me for your next special event! would be good...

Re: Where to print a T-shirt?
LOL! Yes, I think y'all are right.
BTW, I found a site that has much better prices than cafepress, which was going to run me over $35!
Spreadshirt.com gets me the same thing for $17 or so.
