LOL Fesspenter! I hope you meant "Whitney" not "Whiney"!fesspenter wrote:Dear Whiney:
I do portraiture from actual sittings, and I try to avoid using only photographs. When it comes to doing small children, they absolutely cannot sit still. I mounted my husband's laptop on a tripod and place the screen up high behind my shoulder so the child's gaze is up high.
I have listened to a lifetime of Blue's Clues this way.

Yep, same here!! I bribed my Significant Other with rum, but don't suppose we can do that with the kids!
Re: Zebra Tutorial
That was amazing!! Totally made my morning! I always say that if I can paint my 6 year old - who is THE twitchiest (is that a word) kid I have EVER painted - I can paint on anyone!
Re: Zebra Tutorial
Whitney, never tried a zebra but will now. Your daughter is too cute! I often tell parents...when their child is wiggling around in my chair: "If you can't paint a moving object, you shouldn't be in this business!" SUBSCRIBED
Re: Zebra Tutorial
I subscribed also....I went to your website to see a picture of it....you don't have it..is it because it isn't a popular one with the kiddos?
Your daughter is so cute.
