Made a quick $50 with Mike Tyson design

I added the Mike Tyson eye design to my board a while back and it has been a big hit. Especially with older kids and some adults. I do mainly festivals about 25 a year by myself. I had done a very busy festival one Saturday and could hardly move and had already packed up my paints and was about to load my car when a group of 4 adults begged me to paint a Mike Tyson on them. I explained I was packed up already. But they begged me and said they were going to a party and offered to pay me $50 if I would PLEASE do the 4 of them. It's a quick design and I couldn't turn it down. So I unpacked my black paint and got a brush and cup of water and did them all in less than 15 minutes and made $50 !!! Wooo Hooo, that made my day

Shannon you have balls of steel---Sorry that is a little mature for this forum--but seriously you are pretty awesome and I am glad that you are teaching (overly nice) me that it is OK to put my foot down and live/work according to my rules.

OMG that's such a good idea! I've lost count of the amount of Dad's I've painted with that design because their kid has insisted they get a face paint too!

We worked on it at the Pashur and Jay Tribal Workshop and they told us about one painter who learned it and then got a $100 tip for it the very next weekend.

I've had it requested a LOT over last summer.

I wonder if it might be really cool to add a black eye to the face too!!!!!
