My first "original" design and others...

Below are a few faces that I painted for animal day for school spirit week. I am so excited to share my first "original" design! (I feel like original has to be in quotes, because I'm sure somebody painted something like this but better before; I just haven't seen it). My 13 year old princess wanted to be a peacock, but did not like any of the beautiful designs I found on youtube or google images, so I had to make up my own. I went directly from photos of actual peacocks and created below. I know it's not all that amazing, but I'm just so excited, I feel like I passed a facepainting milestone! Of course I cannot claim the tiger or the bird as my original.

For the tiger:
DFX metallix white
FAB magenta shimmer
FAB ziva blue shimmer
DFX black

For the bird:
FAB glitter glam
FAB magenta shimmer
FAB ziva blue shimmer
DFX black
DFX white

For the peacock (from the center of the feather going out):
DFX dark blue
FAB ziva blue shimmer
DFX violet
TAG old gold pearl
layered TAG pearl bronze green on top of DFX light green
DFX dark green
and Ziva blue for the neck/head and DFX black for outlining
for her eyes, I did the old gold/bronze green and DFX for liner

Actually, YOUR peacock is my fav. Beautiful colours and more beautiful model!!

Beautiful work! It looks like we have the same taste in favourite colours, too - I love so many of FAB/Superstar's shimmer colours!

Thank you! Yes peacock feathers are just so beautiful they're hard to resist. Of course every time I see a peacock design now I am even more impressed with everyone's work.
