What an awesome idea! Hmmm... might make fabulous Christmas presents too. Money's so tight I've been trying to figure out what to do and this would be perfect... draw on any kind of lacy design or funny cartoon, etc.

I have a question. Once you are finished with the design do you have to wait for it to dry before you wash it out? How do you keep the Soft Scrub from getting on the other areas when you wash it?

I would love to do my apron this way!

$5 Business Tee Empty Re: $5 Business Tee

Post by Affordable Face Magic Tue Oct 16, 2012 12:43 pm

WOW, you just saved me some $$$$. I've been able to hand out my business cards & wear my apron w/LOGO @ my usual bounce house gig, BUT...just got hired by another company. Their FP'er was a family member who moved after painting for years w/them. They're very busy & pay well. I just can't advertise my own name, so I thought of just buying tee's and putting "face painter" on front & back. I hate crew neck & want to buy my own V-neck of 100% cotton for the FL heat. This is perfect! Just commented on the youtube vid re: asked how long to let dry & how to prevent smudging the design.

I am going to try this using a jac bottle since I've never done henna using a cone.
Thanks for the idea Whitney!

I did something very similar...just less talent needed. Smile

Your shirt is awesome!!

Mine I made a vinyl decal (picked opposite of a glitter tat)

pressed it on the shirt, then sprayed bleach.

Same price. Thanks for sharing! I will need to try this one.

Manna...That's a great idea. Maybe I can create the "Face Painter" in nice, large script, lay it on a shirt & spray w/bleach? Will give it a try this week!

Denise, I know what you mean. Just took a break from creating an album on FB & sat down w/a "cuppa". Can't stay long!
