Re: how to clean smoothie blenders
Clean them with the same soap you're using for your brushes but very carefully so that you don't tear the fabric (or whatever you call the covering)... I have some that come clean and some that don't, just like regular brushes. Don't sweat over it, just so the best you can!
Lollipop Sponges
I like Lollipop sponges so much better. They usually cost about .50 cents and I have about a dozen of them, one for each Starblend and for Ben Nye Powders. They are really easy to clean too. The only one I've had trouble with was the one I was using for black mica because it got some glue on it.
Does Metina have them in yet? I couldn't find them in the shop. Maybe I'm just missing them.

Hi Denise
Where do you find the lollipop brushes? I've never seen them.

I've been lucky to buy them at FPBA convention but Amerikan Body Art sells them, I think Snazaroo sells them but I don't know how to buy from them, or you can buy them online in bulk. I think Metina is planning on carrying them soon and made a wholesale purchase from Amerikan Body Art.
They are extremely sturdy and easy to clean. They were designed for lab work originally. The head is about 1" across so they cover quite a bit of area for such a small thing but fit pretty well in the eye socket for powders. They aren't as comfortable for the client as smoothie blenders but are much more sturdy and stand for a lot of abuse. Haven't ruined one yet...except the glue one but I still have it for my black mica powder.
