Beginner just starting to learn the business
Hey everyone just thought I'd say hello.
My name is Vanessa and I am new to the face painting gig. I started out with my daughter's sixth birthday party painting wild animal faces on the kids. Recently I was asked to do a big Art Festival at a nearby town, I'm more than a little apprehensive about it. Does anyone have any tips or advice for starting out a face painting business? I look forward to learning the tricks of the trade and meeting other fellow face painters.
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum, Vanessa!
If you follow some of the threads for choosing the best brush, sponges, usage of one strokes and rainbow cakes, you will be on the path to being the best facepainter you can be. There are some magnanimous face painters here that are willing to spend their time and spread their hard earned knowledge with the newer painters.
Happy Painting!

BUSINESS CARDS!!!
A website.
(use a free one like wix.com or weebly.com)
Take photos of your work and post them on your website. (Never post another artists' work).
Walk around with your face painted and hand out business cards.
Practice. Practice. Practice.
xoxo
