New booth Set up... Empty New booth Set up...

Post by Jobena1 Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:20 am

This is the new booth set up my picture boards are not finished ran out of velcro and repositioned them better..and my flooring squares didn't come in...I am still in the process of making overlays for the tables in brighter colors and chair covers. I know black stays cleaner but not as festive and I still have a few more things to add. Tell me what ya all think?

Thank you Linda we are still working on the set up...I ordered a interlocking mats in bright colors they are not in yet and when on concrete ground for a 10 hour festival it feels soo much better on your feet. This is a rough set up but when I get it all togehter at the festival I will post new pic...very hard in bright sunny light.

Will people have to duck in order not to hit your sign in the front?

Nah I can walk under and not hit my head....if you are a 6 foot kid then I think you will have to enter from the side.....my Dad is building my new weight that will raise the tent another six inches...so we will be fine. I have seen tents so low only the little poeple can get in and out of them....cute but kinda Willy Wonka Factory..hehehe

why dont you make the slips black then velcro (laminated or cardboard) colourful butterflies and superheroes and the sorts of things that are on your display board. Then you can change/ swap them around if you want and its a lot more festive!

I think it looks great.

Personally, utilitarian, rather than cute-sy is best. I think it looks very professional.

I like it too...and I may borrow the idea of clipping the boards to the tent poles.

Certainly....I really wouldn't have any other place to put them and it keeps a ton of people at bay while you are painting...nothing set me off more than a bunch of people in my booth and getting under foot...so we have line starts here>>>>>>> they can come on over to the sides and gander.

The picture was of just the laminated posters I ordered....this is what they look like after I mounted them to plastic corregated board doubled up and then I "sandwiched them together with funky Duct Tape...if I got hit with a rain storm nothing gets ruined...I laminated all pictures and tattoo posters I am not the fan of replacing foam core board and I tired the plastic foam core board(too heavy..nice and thin..but too heavy) so this was my best option and they are nice and light even doubled up. I am still working on the picture board....i am bummed since I can fit 18 pictures on the board without covering my border....I usually offer atleast 24 pictures so I may have to make another picture board...not sure yet we will see....

It depends on where we are at certain festivals...Maybe to the left or right..I try to ask we not be put directly inbetween other booths since as you face painters know we can cause a total mess for our neighbors.
