Hellboy and Corpse Bride Help please
Hey guys, does anyone know how to apply horns? I have had a request to do hellboy and I haven't ever stuck horns on before. What would I use and how? and for his beard etc?? The corpse bride seems easy enough. All help appreciated. Ok costume might come with horns.. so if so how much would I charge as I don't know how long it would take me.. here are the pic I have to duplicate -

Well, you could make the horns yourself with liquid latex? Take something like a yoghurt pot (is that how it's called?) and make layers with latex in it. Fill it up with tissues, so they won't get too heavy. You could add some rolled oat on the bottom so it looks not too smooth (where the horns are broken). I'm not used working with crêpe de chine (fake hair) but you can find tutorials for that part!
Bride looks like fun to make!

Hell Boy's horns have always looked like corks to me. Not sure that helps...

I'm sure you could come up with some creative (and lightweight) ways of making the horns. Maybe toilet paper tubes filled with styrofoam? LOL. You get the idea. Be creative! And you should be able to just stick them on with some prosthetic adhesive, Pros-Aide for example. I've never done prosthetics before though... so this is just off the top of my head.
The corpse bride in your photo looks a bit different from the one in the movie, I personally think it would look better with some of the details from the movie included too (splotches on skin, small black nostrils, part of cheek missing...)

Rae used some clay and latex to make the horns on Darth Maul and they came out quite real and cool. If you wanna check it out, here's the link http://www.facepaintforum.com/t8481-anyone-done-a-proper-darth-maul-with-bald-cap-and-horns-update-with-pics?highlight=maul
Hope it helps!

Hey... isn't that Adriana Lima? That being said, that is a "fashion" or "pretty" version of corpse bride, and she was scary. What is the occasion?

Charge by the hour then if it takes longer than you think you're covered

For the horns maybe you could use styrofoam cups and just paint them. Thats what they look like to me.
