Re: Highlights of Halloween 2011(this is for everyone)
I didn't do any private bookings, but did my kids and a couple friend's kids...
I could not figure out how to get this child's prosthetic cut on his face or throat to save my life. I have figured out I either 1) really hate spirit gum or 2) this was really inferior product. It was in an all in 1 kit for $10 that the mom bought, and it was awful I ended up doing a zipper on him to finish him up...
This one didn't want a costume, so I totally stole/borrowed this from my inspiration file. I wish I knew who did it, bc I absolutely love it. I know it was from the forum bc I fell in love with it when I saw it... very cool design. He got a lot of cute comments from the girls...
Both of my girls went to a party and wanted to go as cracked dolls so here are my 11 y/o and 13 y/o girls...
And finally, I didn't paint her, but I was really proud of how her "REAL" Halloween costume turned out, so here is my 13 y/o peacock...
If anyone has any tips on how to cover up those eyebrows for next time, that would be awesome. Glue stick, as said in some youtube tutorials, just made a huge sticky mess for me! lol

Very nice!
Bar soap can work (rub over eyebrows in direction it's growing) and then makeup over it.

Re: Highlights of Halloween 2011(this is for everyone)
Here are some I painted this year:
This one was done at a gig they had in a city square where you could cut a pumpkin, get painted or get pumpkin soup all for free! The picture isn't that special, but I really like how the spider match her eyes and shirt.
This sugar skull is painted on my daughter - the first and only sugar skull I have painted
My mummy, which I also put in the split-cake competition
And a devil by request - he had been painted a devil the day before by Lone Wolf, I felt a bit of pressure when I found that out. I haven't painted a devil before and can see plenty that I could add now, but he was happy when he left
As you can see these are pretty fast designs (except for the sugar skull). The devil and the spider are painted at gigs. I did paint the mummy at a gig too, but didn't get a picture

Michelle.. I LOVE how you painted the eyes for the devil girl. I did a lot of those faces last month, and I'm taking note of the shape you used on the inside of the eyes. Awesome!
Re: Highlights of Halloween 2011(this is for everyone)
Alright second post! I'm on a roll.
I worked a lot this Halloween but completely forgot to take pictures except for this one. She wanted to be a demon from a very specific Yakuza (Kind of like the Japanese mob) tattoo and I worked from a picture she pulled up on her space age phone.
This is a face I did on myself for a "Cute and Creepy" art exhibition at my school.
I found a tutorial for the cyborg face somewhere on youtube... I didn't bookmark it but it shouldn't be too hard to find in case someone else on this forum wants to let their inner terminator out.
You guys have given me lots of photos for my inspiration folder and I can't wait until next Halloween to try them out! I wish kiddos would request zombies and devils all year round.

I want to be able to paint a wolf like that! Did you learn via YouTube (that's how I learn everything), or take a class, or what??? Also, I love the pudgy little cat looking at the moon; reminds me of my cat, Lucy.

That is the best spider ever! I'm definitely going to do the highlighted leg bump things.

SamFantastico;
If I had seen you walking towards me, I definitely would've either turned around or crossed the street! Creepy!
