More Sugar Skulls...

They are all lovely, but I really love the white one with the dark red eyes. It is rather masculine, but still beautiful.

Beautiful, and the pics look so good...I need to work up some courage to try a sugar skull, lol My hubby really wants me to paint our daughters with sugar skulls so we can get a cute pic to frame.

I might have something lined up where I'm going to have to paint sugar skulls for a few hours....hope the gig come to fruition....who long did it take you to paint the one on the man?? I've told them I can knock one out in 10 mins! I think I can I think I can....well, with some good simple striking designs and lots of practise I should be able to. Do you think 10 mins is reasonable?

10 minutes!? Not for me, by now. Maybe one day....

mmm I HOPE I can!? I started off saying 15-20 mins but even to me, that sounded too long to spend on just one person, and I think I was loosing the gig, so I tried one quickly this afternoon and managed one in 12 minutes. So I emailed her back with the pic and she was really happy with it. I've got a couple of weeks to prepare. She's going to confirm the booking in the next few days.

Love the Man! I have two people going to a Day of the Dead party next weekend, so this link is so timely for me! Love them. For speed, I use starblend white, it gives a lovely look and blend to the base too. I do this for festival work, and can bang them out in about 7 minutes, but for these private appointments, I want to do more details and a painted base. What white are you using? My preference for white bases is tag pearl white right now, but wonder if that would look too shiny. I like the red too, which one is it?

oooo starblends!! never tried em....time to go shopping!! oh, would they be any good at a bar/nightclub type set up? you know, white enough.

I think that they would be fine in a night club, I love, love, love to blend blush into them for sugar skulls, and they look soft and pretty! Might actually be good for dancing, if you get a sweaty person! I bet some of pearl mica powders over the top would make them shimmer and be just beautiful! I am thinking now...maybe some ben nye powders too, hmmmm.

Oh, so, very, very GORGEOUS! Nope, don't believe I'll ever get tired of them.

I took about 30min for the red and white one... I wish I could make it quicker but I also want to take time and relax during a private session. a face painting mom, I use wolfe white and paradise red.
