So, I just can't read anything more on the DFX saga!!!! OMG I think my eyes are starting to bleed! So I got out my paints and decided to bump up this lonely lil thread.
Inspired by the very talented Margi Kanter. Hope you like.

Daizy, I love the dalmation! Too adorable
Rae, that is such a cutie dog! It looks a little like the wiggle your nose designs. . .is Margi the one that wrote it? I was thinking about buying it, but have been on the fence.
Kleophea, I really like that fox. I love how the tail comes down the neck.
Great job you guys

My lil one wanted to be a puppy today!! yay!! Its the only photo I have.
Re: this weeks theme is? Canine or dog any kind
YAY. Glad I woke up this thread.
Daizy, I wish I could just say thank you, but Margi is the talent here, the whole idea is obviously hers. I made up the head and bone all on my own, but dug out her book to help me with the body. Just changed the tail a bit and did a heart belly button instead of her trade mark swirl.
and Vickery, Margi's new book is called Pick Your Nose.

Puppy face and wagging tail
I just started offering full faces...here's my first puppy face I did a couple weeks ago!
The other day my 3 1/2 year old wanted me to paint "Amos," one of our dogs, on his hand...he requested that his tail be placed on his finger so he could wag it! :-)

Collie "cheek art" (or in this case "arm art")
Oooh, one more...This is a collie design I originally started doing in high school while working at Camp Snoopy in Mall of America (now Nickelodeon Universe). It was off the design board but I've tweaked it a lot since. Looks really fancy but is very quick with flowing hair!

The dalmation is cute! LOVE the cutie pie model you have!! :-) I think it would be fun to add a dog collar and tag around the neck, although kids' clothes don't always allow for that.

This is my "go to" puppy- not very original, but everytime my 3 year old gets her face painted this is what she asks for.
