Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
Now this would be really nice if they had sprays in other colors like maybe metallics
Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
The other kit comes with a blue spray. I agree Metallics would really make them stand out nicely.
Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
How much does that kit cost? I hate doing glitter tattoos, but I think I could handle that.
Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
Are they stick on stencils or reusable? That fold out plastic looks odd

Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
ya i was really thrown by the fold out plastic...
they are stick on stencils...
I think what I am going to do it use this for 'guy tattoos' along with my glitter tattoos... I probably will cut a piece of cardboard in the shape to prevent over spray... To me these little stencils are useless, but the spray I am digging... Not sure how many tattoos this would cover... guess we will see!!

Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
Glad Press and Seal would also work for overspray protection (for the normal glitter tattoo stencils) - if you needed it to be flexible and variable.
Good to know what it is like - I was going to get some to see, but I think I'll pass.... I use airbrush (so I have the fun metallics that stay for days) and I dislike the sticky stencils.... But I can definitely see this for parents/kids who want to have a tattoo regularly from home! I can also see sticky fingers wanting to "borrow" my stencils if they've tried this and like my pictures....

I think it was $9.99. I bought one to try, but haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

I found this sight. I believe in UK. It has all colors and UV and stencils, and says it last up to 7 days.

Don't waste your money.... out of both designs on my arm only the middle part of the shark is still there...
up to 7 days... OR just 1 day.

Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
Do the instructions have you do any prep? like wiping the area with alcohol first to remove oils and lotions etc?

No instructions.... that's fun.... so it just stays strong for a short time and then fades fast.... hmm - great if someone is jumping in and out of the pool, not so great if they want it to stay on for a week or more....

Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
I bought it last year and, like Suzy, had a horrible experience. It came off within a few hours.
To be honest, I've tried all of Tulips "body art" stuff from Joanne's and Michaels and have returned all of them. They are just low quality hype for moms who want something to do on a rainy day with the kids.
I won't bother wasting any more time/money.

Re: Tulip Body Art - Spray Tattoo Kit
Haha thats cool, l have that exact kit too! It works good. My advice is to let it dry before removing the stencil. At first its runny and if you remove the stencil right away the ink runs into any tiny lines in the skin. Less is more. The plastic is very helpful. I even towel blotted theink a little and it looks very real. Mine lasted like 5 days. Had it on my ankel. Also the stencils are thicker material. I used my personal stencils with it and its a great way to get men tattooed who are not fans of glitter. Ive sold a lot to couples by telling them to get couple tattoos. Love it. I also wonder how many tats it does. I didnt keep track but it lasts a while.
