Re: The Angry Birds...
i DIDNT paint the images above, they were in my folder. I want to paint them however, but I would place the green face pig a bit different (i like things above the lip lines when possible) just wanted to make sure that was clear
Re: The Angry Birds...
I think the green pig is done that way so that when he talks the "pig" talks, right? Those are really cute too. Thanks for posting them. Angry birds are super intimidating to me!!
Re: The Angry Birds...
I was actually introduced to Angry Birds during a Wolfe Brothers Class when one painted it on his brother (don't remember who did what). Their method was actually pretty fast NOT cheek art, which I don't even bother with. I'll find the pics if it's ok to post something I didn't paint. I've ( I think) put a pic of my son that I did.

Re: The Angry Birds...
I'll have to give this one a try. I know my kiddos love them, so I'm sure they would be a big hit at partys/festivals.
Re: The Angry Birds...
Cedar I would love to see a Wolfe one. I was just winging it, so would like to see what a pro would do ;o) I think as long as you credit who the artist was and acknowledge it wasnt your work, you are fine
Re: The Angry Birds...
here is mine. I do this with daubers now, I have a red and white split that I made just for angry birds, and it goes really fast. The pig is pretty fast too. Do the Red and white dauber on the forehead first, the green dauber on the cheek, add the lighter green for the pig snout while the green is wet and blend the ears. Paint the slingshot. Add the red feathers. Put in the beak and the crown (all tear drops) by then, it should all be dry enough to take the smallest dauber you have, load it well, and make the eyes. Do the black outlines, and if the eyes are not dry enough, touch them with your finger slightly where you need to put the eye ball, and you are done. It is essentially three peices of cheek art that become a full face. All the full face angry birds I have tried have ended up looking odd.
Re: The Angry Birds...
I did these two on my daughter earlier today. (I'm a beginner so my brush strokes and such still need work)

Re: The Angry Birds...
Love this thread lol. Hollywood insight about Angry Birds. This was Johnny Depps favorite game while filming Pirates of the Carribean.
Re: The Angry Birds...
After 20 red wolfe's angry birds, I decided to put togheter all of them in the wolfe's style, I think this is easiest than a full face or the dauber ones. [img][/img]
The Angry Birds
I am working on these too, the kids request for them alot so now I must make room on my board for them. Here's a post I found.
