A Few of My New Designs Update...New Pics

Here are a couple of my New designs I have been working on....still tweaking, but am pretty happy with them. I plan on incorporating them at gigs I have this weekend and next week. Got a few weekday b-day parties, since most schools are out for Easter break. The first 2 are 1 design that I morphed into something else. I have been doing alot of that....taking one look and by adding some details accents linework.....and transforming it into another design.



The 3rd one started out as something Native American but ended up Egyptian. I did using a new (at least I have never seen it done by anyone) technique with a 1" flat brush.



The 4th one I came up with just playing around, which is why I like it. It is free flowing and intentionally random so there's never a wrong way of doing it.

but ooooh my gosh, the black so hard to get off your face!!!
I always am beating myself up when I put black on our kids faces, this is something I should not use on my own kids,

Beautiful. How long did they take? Lots of great details on them all.

Black is not hard to remove at all. It comes off super easy which is why I use it again and again. I have never had a complaint from a parent. I don't stain and none of the kids that I use as models have stained either.

They are beautiful Changing! Under 5 minutes? "SHUT UP" you are fast!

In the first design definitely under 5 the full mask was more like 6.5

I already new what colors I was going to use to fil in the circles, the additional time was mainly to fill in the negative space with the black. I mean you probably could have not filled it in but I don't think it would look as nice visually.

Yup, I can't use all that black w/o serious staining issues. I usually go out & then find I still have paint in my hairline

They look great! I like the vibrant colors...and the last one looks very versitile!

Your designs are so bold and exciting! And in five min? There is a thread on here I'm sure you've seen- 5 min Tag- DONT PLAY!! There's no way I could keep up!

I admit I can sometimes be a bit of a lazy painter if you will...lolol. I am always trying to find ways to get "big" looks with little effort. I mean there are days that I want to be so artistic and really really stretch out there with the more intricate, but the reality of the very nature of the business we're in is speed. But I don't wish to sacrifice quality for quantity.

Usually I will take my time the first time doing something new so I can really get it the way I want it. Once I have it I practice it again and again with a timer. It doesn't make it on my board until I can get it down to a comfortable time.

What is the brand your using then, b/c it is nice bold black. I use DFX! And that collour is nice and bold. but is nasty to clean!
So just let me know! I want that toooooo....

I use DFX black too and it was really hard to get off the skin but now NO STAIN
