Camo Faces?

I just got asked to do one of DH's workmates kids in camouflage tonight, I've been cruising the net and I think it shouldn't be too hard but got me thinking.. other than Kim's camo butterfly I haven't seen much on here.. I'm thinking if I get it right it could be a quick and easy one boys will love, I'll put pics up when I'm done but would love to see other interpretations of the camouflage theme...

I get this request all of the time. I just swipe on some bits of brown, light brown, and a couple shades of green, and the boys are happy. You can do it in stripes, spots, or just big blotches. Most of the boys love the stripey one. If you just google image search camouflage face, you will see what I am talking about.

Look for camoflauge fabric - hunting clothes, etc.

Actual military camo face painting is pretty boring. I've worn it.

I think face painters don't tend to post pictures of camo even though they do it a lot because it is kind of boring. I mean, I've done it. It was just random splotches of those colors.

I have only ever been requested to paint it one... it turned out pretty average. I tried splattering brown over it which didn't help at all...

Here's my pics. It went pretty well. He's a mile a minute kid which I already knew so it was done in about 4 mins and he had a pic of his big brother in his actual army camo and when I saw what flies in the actual army I wasn't so worried... I tried a few practice ones on myself with "neat" camo edges earlier today but it looked contrived so messy it was..which is lucky cause there was no way he was going to sit still long enough to let me make a line. I can see this one being an awesome line buster for fidgety boys. Think I'll add it to my board.

i did a couple boys a while back but the pic isn't great . the bare patches are gold but didn't show up in the pic. this is a couple hours after being painted as well.

I once saw a pretty cool camo mask, anyone have any other ideas or pictures to share?

i use the one stroke "forest fest" to do my camo now.

i outline my patches-that's really the only thing fancy about it, but i feel it looks a little less boring.

I Really like your camo face JBM. I did one this last summer that looked aweful imo. Yours looks softer. More of a dry sponge affect. I'm trying that next time!

I hate getting the request for camo. It is boring to me and no matter how well done or at least well attempted, I feel they always looks a mess. I don't put it on the design board but I will do it if asked. It is easy and the little boogers are always happy.
