My very very very FIRST bellypaint. Not to happy about my "pink sky" attempt in the middle but the mom-to-be absolutely LOVED everything so I guess I can't complain too much Smile

The problem was that I used Diamond FX for everything but it's not that good for bases. Do you have any recommendations? I've heard Paradise should be nice as bases and easy to blend?

Anyway here's my FIRST belly!! Smile

Hi and welcome! I think your belly is beautiful.
I find metallics/pearls are great for blending.

I think it looks great and welcome....the blending looks good to me...
and your right dfx is hard to blend just have to work with it and get use to how much water you use

Cute belly! Looks great!
Welcome to the forum!

DFX can be a good base(my base is DFX in the belly I just posted). The trouble with it is once it dries it can lift off if you try to apply more paint. This makes it a little harder to blend. Paradise blends easier & is more forgiving.

This said, I see none of those issues with your belly & it looks wonderful & full of great bold colors!
