Just a little hearsay, but .....Saw Marcela at a class last weekend and she explained a little about how it will work. She said they will be featuring one-hour teaching videos by BIG name artists....the Wolfes, MarkReid, etc.... You will have to pay a one time monthly fee to view the classes, and then pay each month that you wish to continue viewing...OR you can just buy the one hour class on DVD and keep it. It sounds very affordable ( I think she said around $10 for a month). I can't remember all the artists she named that have already started taping. She also said they are getting some of the artists from other countries to make videos when they come for FABAIC in May. They are very excited about it all. Just have to stay tuned....they should be revealing all the details soon.

Plus fuel, food and hotel for 2 nights?
Makes me seconf guess spending all that money.

Where have I been? I had never heard of it before.

Watching a video is great to a point, but you get more from going to classes. You see other artist & how they interpret the designs being taught, you get to network & you have loads of feedback from the teacher.

...AND you get to meet, face-to-face, the people that you speak to virtually everyday. The jam sessions are awesome because you're not just learning from the featured instructor, but everyone there! Then there's the wackiness that ensues when you all go out to eat...

It's all about seasons of growth...the duckies have to all line up in order for it work in your favor...so...beat your ducks into submission, save your pennies (I've already started) and keep your eye on the future! Until then...paint like mad! Hugz!

Psalm that would be great if you could come for a day...sure would love to meet you. I will be there for several days as my brothers and sisters live there and my father's side of the family is there. So kinda the 2 for 1 visit. See the Fam do the convention. I will be at the Doubletree...easier for all of them to get to me.

My mom is coming too this year. She had to listen to us rave about it for so long she said, she (at 78) wants the experience to be painted by one of the artist she hears me talk so much about.
