Happy New Year and I'm thinking of our Aussie members!

First off, Happy New Year everyone!

I haven't been on the forum in a while with the holidays and family goings on, hope everyone is well.

Secondly, I've been seeing the Australian floods in the the news and our Aussie forum members have been on mind constantly since I first heard.

I hope you are all out of harm's way, you're in my prayers!!

Thanks for worrying about us Aussies... the floods here are very rural.
There's a big river thats causeing havoc but we've seen and had much worse... it's pretty localised... only making page 7 here in the paper... shows how used to natural disasters we are here! My sister and her kids were flooded in for chrissy, but that's nowhere near as bad as some of the snow storms you guys get.
Actualy I was just reading about your horrific weather over there.... tornados, snow storms, big freezes far out!!

This time of year we get heavy electrical storms and hail storms, but this year has been ultra crazy!!! oopss I should say last year!
We had places getting snow in summer here..... now thats crazy.
It's been stinking hot for two days then raining for two.... this weather makes me crazy.
