my first video!

Hi everyone! Just posted my first video last night of me painting myself as a kitty!

yes, I know I'm looking down the entire time, but I found it confusing without my mirror. I plan to make some more videos, and when I do, they will be posted

About the mirror do you have a free standing mirror that you could put up in front of you?

cute design! You might want to put your website in a subtitle at the beginning and end of your video in case someone wants to hire you from watching.

thanks mandi! I do have a free standing mirror with a bendable handle, which is what i was using, but I guess I need to position it so i'm not looking down the entire time.

I couldn't do videos on myself because i wear glasses now (only when I read or paint) so it makes it impossible to paint on myself...well if I want to do a good job that is! ; )

I sure have been, Linda! I am hoping to do some original face painting videos as well--all the designs I have posted thus far were purely from memory and were not done while looking at pictures, but I plan to do a few freeform videos where I just pick a color scheme and paint with no specific direction in mind, just to see what I come up with

Okay, so here it is....first attempt at your swirly butterfly! I think next time I'll use a smaller brush for tighter swirls.

thanks Barb! Josie and the Pussycats was one of my absolute favorite movies in middle school (it CHANGED my life, which is a whole other story in itself) and I've always loved cats so I love painting cats

thank you so much Jamona! originally the song I used for my butterfly video was "No Sunlight" by Death Cab for Cutie but Youtube scanned it as property of some licensing company so I had to choose a different song from a list of songs I didn't even know...but the song did have the word "butterfly" in it so it worked out well!
