In need of a practice head Empty In need of a practice head

Post by rthling Tue Oct 19, 2010 10:35 am

My kids are suddenly unwilling subjects, and I need all the practice I can get.
Anyone have a practice head they are not using? I'd like to buy one, but a new one is a little out of my budget. I could pay a reasonable "used" price.

Thanks,
Diane

Try getting a foam wig stand at a local beauty supply store for super cheap and order the covers from FPF store. I think Metina has them there.
They fit perfect over the foam head.
This will probably be your cheapest route. Shipping on the real ones are quite pricey as they are heavy.

Hmm, good idea. I'll check it out. Thanks, Glitterfly!

Okay, I'm stupid. The price on the one in Metina's store is actually lower than the other one I was looking at.
Shoulda checked a little more carefully.

I ordered mine from wimex.com - it was only $16 for the head which comes with an extra face, and I think shipping was only $7. I've used it a few times and it does the job =).
