Chewbaca Star Wars

My fiance is a Star Wars geek and I have a Star Wars party coming up soon... Was practicing Chewy and this is what I came up with.... What do you think?[img][/img]

Haha! I too am a Star Wars fanatic! This is great! Btw, does he have any issues with his lips being painted? 'Cuz if not, I say go all the way and make his lips black like Chewy's too!

I dont think chewie's lips are black...Great pic, will use as inspiration for my StarWars Themed bday on the 24th...will post pics then!

Going from memory here, but Chewy's lips weren't as visable, but the Ewoks were!

Chewbacca.....great job with the hair...........I'd make his nose more of a "blocky" triangle that's black & darken his eyes more.

Ah, now that you mention it, I think that's what I was thinking of, You guys are right, Chewy's lips can't be seen. How did I mess that up?? I'm ashamed of myself now, you know what this means? Star Wars marathon at my house this weekend!

Haha, I remeber the first time I saw the movie when the Ewoks first appeared, I turned to my mom and said "Mommy, I want an Ewok for my birthday... not a puppy." Lol, she laughed so hard!! I was 7 btw.

Chewbacca is a Wookiee. His lips are fleshy colored....NOT black. Maybe use a light brown mixed with a pink. You should darken the nose to more of a black, also the dark area around the eyes and the "mustache" area.

Ewoks do not have heavy black lips either (well, some were blackish, but most were fleshy toned also.....Wicket probably had the darkest nose and lips of all the Ewoks.....it made him easier to recognize). For Ewoks though, you need to do a more fleshy-pinkish nose into some darker browns (more like what you did with the wookiee, but even lighter for some of them) instead of black (whether you go dark or light, just remember to match it with the color of the lips), and they do not have heavy dark rings around the eyes (just a little eyeliner would do for the Ewoks).
