Hi everyone! I am new to face painting and am having a love hate relationship with it. Teaching yourself is tough. I am reaching out to all the resources on the internet. I love it so much and want to do it! There are so many amazing artists I am being exposed to and it is fantastically inspiring. Thank you all for being here!

welcome. emily387. ah, yes, the love hate relationship Smile just keep practicing and learning. as with all skills, there's a learning curve.

if you have any art training, use what you know about composition, color, and design to help you. same for painting techniques, many of them translate well to face painting, such as blending, shading, light and dark contrast.
