Finally getting paid!
Okay, I finally booked a paying gig, now I'm freaking. Any helpful hints and tips for me? I've done quite a few volunteer gigs for local churches & family parties, but this will be my first time with my "professional" set - up. When you paint at children's parties what does your set up look like? I don't think I need my banner or do I? The party is at someone's home. Any hints and tips are appreciated.

you certainly don't need to put up any signs, you probably won't even need to bring your own table. They'll have tables, chairs and water... you'll need your supplies and business cards ... if you use sample pictures, you can bring those for the kids to look at while they wait for their turn.

I put a plastic placemat under a black towel to protect their furniture if I am using my small set - I use a plastic table cloth when I am using my proset. I tie a plastic bag to my chair for used paper towels and work very clean...oh and don't get glitter on the ceiling.
