here is a recent pictue of my new kit
I just got done with my new kit..this is for my paints only...I still have to carry another bag with sponges, etc...but I think this will work well...it was a vintage wooden brief case I got on ebay...I primed and painted it and this is how it looks now.[img][/img]

thanks guys...you know how we all are..always looking for the right kit...I have a fat max, I have a rolling suit case which the suitcase works very well..and I have the gun case...but I found it to be kinda long for me as im only 5'2" tall and the gun case is 48 inches long lol..but it worked great and for some one taller it would be perfect
Re: here is a recent pictue of my new kit
I love your case of paints Barb! I can see how the gun case would be a bit awkward being nearly as long as you are!! lol I'm just looking at your case though... how have you set your paints into the case? Have you used inserts of some sort?
Re: here is a recent pictue of my new kit
yes the round cakes are in the foam inserts you can get them here on the forum..the square paints have foam inserts too but I don't have room for the inserts so I just have them on the side...the paints on the right there is a metallic pallet under neath them..
I also have rubber black shelf liner on the bottom the paints don't slide around...when I close the lid I move the paints on the left and put them on top of the paints on the right and put a table cloth on top of that then close it...the paints don't move to much the pressure from the table cloth keeps everything in tack..i love this little case its wood and very strudy
I worked out of it last night and I love it..

Love seeing all the paint so neatly displayed. Very crafty using a vintage case...nicely done
