Any face painting classes in NYC?

i am new to face painting and was wondering if anyone gives classes in NYC or Brooklyn area. i would also love to join a face painter on a job if possible (for free of course, just to practice and learn).

I'm in the Hudson valley, but things seem to come around NYC and Long Island pretty frequently. There's also the East Coast convention in Connecticut in January, I met a lot of NYC painters there last year.

Hi. I am new to face-painting and am really nervous about the whole competition thing, but also would like to get to know other face-painters. I am in the Hudson Valley (Kingston NY) and invite contacts, and advice for how to get into this business the right way. It seems like a fairly supportive community, but I also know many of us are trying to make a living at this. How do we balance it?
