I occasionally do a "living statue" act at school fairs and community events. I purchased some Kryolan Aqua face make-up for the act about 7 years ago and when I went to use it recently, it seemed as if it had dried out. Is it possible to soften it again by adding a few drops of water, or is there a better way?

You might try a couple drops of glycerin in your water when you moisten it. It's available at any drug store.

Thanks for the suggestion. I read somewhere that it is glycerine based, so you idea is probably a good one. - Thanks

One drop goes a loooong way so use sparingly. Recently, my Paradise metallic pallette was dropped and all the colors broke and crumbled. Fellow painter told me about the glycerin and it worked out great to get back in order.

I'd try warming it up some & spritzing a few times also. Worst comes to worst, mush it with a mortar & pestle or the back of a spoon & moisten & repot.

Totally possible!! This is the beauty of water based paints. I've re-hydrated 5+ year old paint with no problems. I actually created a SnapGuide to show how I do it, here:

Just buy a bottle of glycerin at the pharmacy. Add ONE drop to the cake and let it sit overnight. If it is still dry, add another. It should only take a couple drops. I have done this to Kryolan aquacolours before and it does work .
