It is so wonderful to meet my fellow FPF members.

My Mama told me to never give your real name in ChatRooms and NEVER EVER meet up with a person from a ChatRoom in person unless it is a very public venue.

I met Face Painting by Jessica and kingsmeadmama Christina for a mini jam last week. It was like meeting kindred spirits. AND I GOT PAINTED UPON!!! I almost never get painted by anyone else except by my own self.

My Mumsy was wrong.
Meeting fellow FPF members is GREAT!

Now, I wonder about all the other stuff she told me:
Always wear clean underwear.
Don't bite your sister.
Men with overly large sideburns are hung like hamsters.

Yes, always wear clean underwear. However, it doesn't have to be INTACT underwear. We all have those famous (to us, alone) "last" ones chosen just before laundry day. Separated elastic, viewing holes, looking like Old Glory after the cannonballs got it. But ... if it's clean, well, then, okay!

Maybe - it is maybe a good idea not to bite your sister. Unless she is trying to bite you and you're trying to stop her. This applies if you are under three years old, and wearing clean underwear. If you are over three, do not bite your sister.

Men with overly large sideburns are hung like hamsters?? Hmmm ... I do not have sufficient world experience to comment objectively (or even subjectively) on this. I do, however, know, now, that the next time I am in public (on the bagel line, say, or being waited upon in a restaurant that specializes in waiters with 70s hairdos) that I will have to work to keep from bursting out laughing when I meet my next man in sideburns. "The facepainter from Canada!" I will sputter. "I blame it all on the facepainter."

Well, If you sister is anything like my two sisters, I say go ahead and bite her - but only while you are wearing clean underwear

It was AWESOME to meet Fesspenter and Face Painting by Jessica. Both are very lovely ladies

Awe such a good experience. I'm excited to meet and room with lorrinwagner in Asheville, NC for the art of body convention.

Maybe I'll check this out! Toronto is an 8 hour drive (or 1 hour flight) away, and since Pashur isn't doing any more classes in 2014... I think I should do it. Fesspenter - do you have a link to where you sign up? I looked on his website and the Toronto class isn't listed anywhere!

I met Noella today at the event where I was face painting!

She has the most enormous, beautiful green eyes.

I asked her is she wanted to be face painted...
she said, "No, thank you".
I had to ask.

It was great to meet someone in person who has given me so much wise advice and shared her wisdom on this Forum. I have never been one to fall for Rock Stars, or celebrities....
Meeting Noella was like meeting a Rock Star Celebrity, for me.

(I did have a crush on the Jackson Five and Donny Osmond when I was 10. That is as close as I got to star worshipping... until now!)

I did not take any pictures. Noella and her Mom Nina were airbrushing fast tattoos for those with VIP Passes. I was doing PPF. We were all in the same tents, I paid attention to the child in my chair. I was working for another company so I did not have my own line manager to get model release forms signed or take pictures.

Yes, L!zzie, Noella is her Forum name. Noella is fantastic at wisely answering all tech things. There is so much wisdom on this Forum that is freely shared. I love that. If there is something I need to know, I used to just post a new thread and ask a question. Now, I do a Google search on the FacePaintForum and the subject and some wise advice comes up from all different artists' point of view.

Off to get ready for today's event.

How fun. I have met others from other forums and I love it!.. wish i could meet more. I feel i know some of them ...just from all the post...especially from talking with them as well on face book. so glad you guys got to meet. and so glad you both got to go to Marcella class. she is so friendly and nice! and helpful! it is so great to share!!!!
