Starting up in Florida Empty Starting up in Florida

I was wondering if anyone has information on exactly what I need to operate in Florida? Specifically Jacksonville. I'm pretty sure I need a DBA, but I can't tell if I need anything else? I've spent a couple of hours online trying to figure it out, and I am totally lost! Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I started my business in Jacksonville and moved it to El Paso 2 years ago. Business license, insurance, professional cosmetic grade paints and brushes, plus marketing costs. Some downtown events require extra vendor licensing.
