Do you use agreement forms to confirm events?
Hi, all! Just wondering, when you set up "smaller" events like parties do you send some sort of agreement or "contract" confirming your presence and the fee? If so, is anything signed by you and/or the participant? Just trying to figure out how both parties make sure that things on both ends are confirmed.
Thanks,
Y-Von

I use a letter of agreement for EVERYTHING. Small parties get an abbreviated version that just confirms the facts, and they have to sign it and return it with the deposit before I confirm the booking.

Wow, thank you all!
I never even thought about a deposit! I'm such a newbie. This helps!

I only ask for $20, but I know a lot of people ask for more than that.

I ask for 50% for smaller events and birthday parties, and $150 from the larger events.
