Changing names

Hey everyone,

I've been thinking about changing my business name lately.. I feel mine is boring and makes for a really long url to my website lol.

Has anyone made the switch? How difficult will it be to get the same traffic as my current name, or will it be difficult at all? I've been to websites that have the "we've moved to (enter new url here)", and it was a simple click on the link and I'm in the new site.

What do you think?

I've liked the name, JLeigh Designs for awhile (J for Jessica, Leigh for my middle name. My last name is Biffis and I'm not about to advertise that lol)

You could also just keep the existing URL, and make it transfer automatically to the new URL....
I haven't made the change myself, everyone knows me as it is, so even though I would like to change, I think it would cause confusion among my customers... Not to mention I have a huge pile of stationery with the current name on it

That's the same boat I'm in, Tineke. I figure it would be a slow change, but I might be happier with it. I want a sleeker name lol
