One Stroke Dragon Empty One Stroke Dragon

Post by vinnie Thu Jul 26, 2012 12:34 pm

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share my very first tutorial! Smile I didn't make an appearance (camera shy) but maybe next time. I had so much fun with this, I'm already thinking of the next one, lol. I hope you all like it, and let me know what you think! Smile

This is a picture of the design the tutorial is on.

Thanks! Smile

For this video I took my time painting it. But when I'm at a gig I can paint it under 4 minutes. Smile The more and more I paint it the faster I get.

Awesome dragon, great tutorial! How the heck did you do so much without reloading your brush? What brand paint? Or is it just me not loading properly?

Thank you Veelux! I tried really hard to make it make sense! Smile

Momomac, the split is made with Snaz yellow and green, and DFX black. I load the brush really well. For this dragon I only reloaded once. The first load of paint was enough for the top of the head, horns, body, and tail. I reloaded and that was enough to paint the rest of the head and mane and wing.

Billiebcc, I'm glad you liked it! We are our worst credicts. There were so many times I wanted to start over, lol, I just wanted it to be perfect. I still think I could've done a better job! Wink

Yay, thanks so much everyone! Very Happy

I'm thinking of doing this one for my next tutorial. This is my one of my quickest designs, perfect for those long lines. What do you think?
