Wolfe and DFX the same?
Are they? I've been told they are and they are made in the same factory, but when I look at the ingredients they are different.
Are the colors identical between brands?

Re: Wolfe and DFX the same?
They are made by the same manufacturer LUCKY ART INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD out of Taiwan/China according to several reliable sources. They are also sold under additional other "brand" names in different parts of the world. Same basic paint being sold to different resellers who "put their name on it". Isn't Funky Foxes the same paint as well in Europe? I am thinking I need to get a loan and have Dragon WOW paints going soon!! (just kidding!!!)

There is talk that the formulations vary slightly but in our community they are widely regarded as equivalents. Diamond FX and Wolfe do however offer slightly different color offerings and mini pallette size/shape packaging. The larger sizes appear to be identical clear cases with screw on lids.

Re: Wolfe and DFX the same?
Funky Foxes are not the same. They have parabenes and perfume in them. I only got a few metal ones, and find them nice, but that is about it.
Wolfe and Diamond are about the same. Wolfe have beewax in and Diamond the kind of wax that are in candles (can't remember the English word). At least some of the colours are not quite the same. Found out when I was running out of the light blue DFX and could only get Wolfe. Both good, but a bit different.

Re: Wolfe and DFX the same?
The US distributor told me that they are made in the same factory, have the same base and started out with the same colors. Over time as the products have diverged, DFX is made with less perfumes and now the colors are starting to vary as the products compete with each other.
Re: Wolfe and DFX the same?
I believe that Wolfe actually sued DFX when they first came out, and won. Who knows though... I've tried both, and I SWEAR that they feel the same to me... I use mostly Wolfe, just because it's what I started with... but I find them interchangeable.
Lone, the word that you're looking for is Paraffin Wax... I like the beeswax better, but that's just me

My understanding is.........
They are made in the same factory. But are different formulations.

Re: Wolfe and DFX the same?
At this point, it is probably best to contact DFX or Wolfe with this question. Thanks!
Re: Wolfe and DFX the same?
I was told that there are three ingredients that are different - and DFX eliminated perfume.
I find them very similar (the Wolfe and DFX) but, if I had to choose I would pick the OLD Wolfe White/Red/Black over the new Wolfe or DFX - they just have an intensity that they new stuff doesn't have. Luckily I buy multiples when I order so I have a supply of old stock (in the black pots).
